Cake Competition Rules
On October 30 we’re opening the doors of our Florentin studio in a bewitched bakery style, and for this occasion we are organizing a cake competition!

Anyone who loves baking, that is not a professional baker!
Size: Every cake should be at least for 8 people (normal portions, for the competition we'll divide smaller so more people can taste)Shape: The competition is in a Halloween setting, everything is allowed but this is what people will be voting on. Aside from that, all shapes or forms are allowedTaste: We only allow sweet cakes/pies (no quiches,...)
2 days before the competition we will reach out to you with some additional questions. We will ask you about the ingredients of the cakes so we can label the cakes accordingly.
The cake arrives baked and decorated. There is no baking on site possible.
The cake should arrive by 13:00 on October 30th, since we need time to take pictures before guests arrive.
During the event (14h - 17h), all guests will be able to vote for two categories: Looks & Taste. Looks: We will make a picture before cutting the cake, all guests will vote for all cakes based on these pictures.Taste: Every cake can be tasted by every guest: Guests vote for their top 3.Overall: We take the average of both categories and add these together to find the best overall cake!Both categories will receive a small trophy, the big price will go to the cake with the most overall points.
Yes, pictures and videos will be made for our social media account. You are agreeing with this when entering the competition.
Guests will be able to vote in two categories: Looks & Taste. Every cake will receive points in each category. There will be 3 prices:Best "looks" cake: Most points received in the looks category receives a trophyBest "taste" cake: Most points received in the taste category receives a trophyBest overall cake: Points from both categories are brought together to get the big price: ₪250 coupon from Citrus & Salt
We need to count the votes, which of course can only be done after the event ends. If you are the winner, we can give you your price then, or deliver it to you afterwards.
If you stay until the end, you can take leftovers (if there are any!) home, of course!
